Hi, thank you for sharing your wordpress theme. It’s best for me. I use it for my blog.

The Side Bar 5 Bottom doesn’t work correctly. Instead of situating below where the content from 3 & 4 end, it must be set to situate at a particular point because when I tested it by putting a “pages” menu in the left bar, and a “blogroll” in the right bar, the 5 bottom overlapped the blog roll links. Additionally I can’t find a way to turn off comments on “pages” without turning off comments on “posts.” Unfortunate obstacles since I had really likes the purported features of the theme :(

      Hi Sandy,

To turn comments off on the “pages”, simply un-check the comments box for that page. If you do not see the comments option, you need to turn the option on in the drop down panel “Screen Options”. While on “Pages”, click on “Screen Options” in the upper right corner and select “Comments”. Screen options video tutorial

The overlap issue is a new one, do you have a URL I can look at?

      thanks,
      Jason

Isn’t it possible to have a favicon with this theme? I’ve gotten my page modified in every way I desire, but even with several attempts, cannot get my favicon to show. I tried using the multicons tool in WordPress but also directly edited the code. I even did the “wait time” because of IE weirdness, but it still hasn’t shown up.

Problem: search.php won’t show the white background. Frustrated, please assist.

WP Ver: You are using WordPress 3.2.1.

Here is the correction for the search and 404 pages.
      Go to: themes > simply-works-core > search.php (and 404.php)

In search.php around line 40 you will find:

Add: after the get_sidebar line add <div class="clear"></div> so it should look like this:

      <div class="clear"></div>

Do the same in the 404.php file around line 20.

I will incorporate this bug fix in the next release.

      thanks,
      Jason

Hi, I have watched the video but it did not answer my problem.
When yuou have successfully created a custom menu for the sidebar and then add pages, no matter what “order” number you give them they always end up in alphanumerical order – which is seriously annoying. What am I doing wrong please. You can see it here at http://restoreuganda.org in the sidebar menu (particularly obvious in the list of Romans 1-16 becoming Romans 1 then 10-16 then 2-9) Please help as I have tried everything.
    Thanks
    Robert
